Justin Boots: I Get a Kick Out of Mine!
Since I got my Justin Boots, I’ve become a new person. That sounds like a crazy statement, after all, it’s just a pair of boots, right? Wrong! I used to be quite the shy, socially awkward person. It was hard for me to mingle at parties and meet new people. Much preferred to just hang out with a close friend or even alone. But, that can get pretty old and lonely, especially when I would see other people so easily interacting! Here’s how I got hooked on Justin Boots…..
A good friend of mine was signing up for some country dancing lessons, and kept trying to talk me into joining her. She’d go out every week, wearing her Justin Boots and dance herself silly. She tried to convince me that it was an “easy” social situation, there was some structure, and lots of single people went every week looking for a social group. Eventually, she did wear me down and I went.
Well, I don’t know if it went so well at first. I mean, these people all seemed to know each other, knew some dances already, and everyone had on these cute little country dancing outfits. And, the boots! I was the only person in there not wearing cowboy boots. I did end up having a great time that night, even met some new people.
I knew that if I was going back the following week, I’d need some boots. I had admired a great pair of Justin Boots on a woman that I met that first night, so that would be my first attempt. When I went to the website, I was amazed at how many choices I had. What kind of leather, what kind of sole, what style? After wading through the selections, I settled on a beautiful pair of golden leather boots with beautiful embroidery along the shaft. Justin Boots shipped them to me very quickly (I had them before my next lesson!), and they fit perfectly when they arrived.
A quick shopping trip for a new pair of jeans, and I was ready for the next lesson. This time I went with confidence, know that my great jeans and Justin Boots would make me feel right at home in this crowd. I had a great time, learned a few country dance moves, and continued to meet people.
That was about 6 months ago. I’m still getting a kick out of my great Justin Boots, and I’m even ready to buy another pair for variety. I have a new hobby and a lot more confidence now. I even find myself chatting up the newcomers to the group! Okay, so maybe it’s not entirely the Justin Boots that changed me, but I’m keeping them close by anyway……
